Diligence, dedication, and passion are traits difficult to master in high school. For Claremont High School’s Anna Fang, however, these traits are common place. Fang is a top tier student at CHS, and as she completes her senior year, is finalizing the mark she leaves on campus.
These past four years, Fang has made sure to fully dive into everything she signs up for. Some examples of this are her commitment to her extracurriculars and school work. Since freshman year, Fang has balanced a rigorous course load and an impressive sports lineup. In total, Fang has participated in, cross country, swim, track, and water polo. With this, her attendance at the prestigious University of California San Diego is far from shocking.
On her upcoming college experience, Fang is excited that she has the opportunity to live down at UCSD.
“I love the location and I want to be outside a lot and it’s a really nice place to go to the beach.” Fang said.
When asked who had the biggest impact on her high school experience, Fang said her friends.
“They made it such a fun thing to go through especially my friends in sports because being in sports and extracurriculars really helps you to feel like you are part of something.” Fang said.
Anna Fang will go far in life because of her perseverance and willingness to improve. Her powerful and dedicated demeanor will continue to serve her well, and no matter what she ends up doing, it is certain Fang will find lots of success. Before she leaves, Fang has some advice to give to future high school students.
“I would say join as many clubs and sports and extracurriculars because it’s really such a great way to connect with people.” Fang said.
