Triplets are often a rare sight, but not here at CHS and especially not in the senior class, thanks to the Sanders, Azure, Luscha, and Scarlette. The trio are recognizable in their own circles and together, hosting similar interests and participating in many events around campus.
Azure and Scarlette are very familiar within CHS as we see either of them hosting a segment on Wolfcast at least once a week, but filmmaking won’t stay a high school hobby for this duo as they both share a desire to continue their creative discipline onto university and beyond as Azure states ”I’m split between going to Chapman [University] for the director’s program or going to Mt. Sac for the film program” he plans on pursuing passion for directing and story writing by majoring in film no matter where he ends up. Azure’s future career goals are also intertwined with his sister Scarlette’s.
“I am going to Citrus [College] for my first year because I already have a whole bunch of Citrus [College] credits… and then I’m gonna transfer hopefully either UCLA or USC for film,” Scarlett said. The film industry is a notoriously difficult field, “If you are not [already] at the top, then it is very hard to get there,” Scarlett said; however, the two believe they will be stronger together. They will start with smaller projects and internships to really get a feel for the industry. Azure’s favorite high school memory was watching his own student film,
On a very different path is their sister, Luscha. Luscha Sanders plans on attending Cal Poly Pomona next fall as a major in Animal Science. She wishes to become a veterinarian, “[my path] is different in the sense that I am not going into entertainment like they are, but it is similar in the sense that I am providing a service for people” Luscha said. Through the past four years, Luscha has made many memories, chief among them was playing volleyball with her friends and siblings at lunch. Outside of school Luscha enjoys a very lively home thanks to her many pets, four dogs, three cats, four rabbits, and five birds. Knowing this, it is clear why Luscha has such an interest in animal sciences and health. Routine is what Luscha looks most forward to in college, “routines help me create goals and stick to my goals.” She would like to shout out her siblings and Ms. Kandice.
