Homecoming Prince: Victor Chen
Often described as a fun, optimistic, outgoing person, it is no surprise that Victor Chen is one of the homecoming princes. Outside of his rigorous academic schedule consisting of AP and IB courses, Chen participates in many extracurricular activities. This includes being in the Stock Watch Club and running track for CHS. When he has free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing basketball.
Chen is excited to be on the court and is grateful to his peers for voting him onto the court. He does not take his position granted, and appreciates every vote he has received. As for winning, Chen doesn’t really care. He feels that getting voted onto the court is a huge accomplishment in itself, and that winning is only a small added bonus.
After graduating from college, Chen hopes to pursue a career in either real estate or physical therapy.
“I want to do something in business/real-estate because it’s something that has brought me joy,” Chen said. “And as I’ve learned the concepts and systems for physical therapy, through my time playing sports, I’ve always been interested in learning how to prevent and treat an injury, so that the body can function as efficiently as possible.”
Chen would like to shout out his friends especially Halle, Jenna, and his mom for helping him get through high school.
