From Claremont High School’s (CHS) theatre stage to UC Berkeley’s Zellerbach Playhouse in the fall, Elisa Connolly cannot wait to see where college takes her. She has been heavily involved in CHS’ theatre and choir programs throughout her four years, and has loved her time at CHS. Nonetheless, Connolly is eager to take the next step in her education.
“I’m attending UC Berkeley with a double major in physics and theatre, because I have yet to decide which direction I’d like to pursue and want to keep my options open,” Connolly said. “I’m super excited for the student life at Berkeley along with all the academic, research, and professional performance opportunities that are available.”
While she may not be committing to one path, Connolly has visions for her future after Berkeley. She hopes to either pursue professional performance or work on developing clean nuclear energy alternatives. However, she never could have done it without her biggest supporters.
“Shout out [to] my family and friends!” Connoly said. “I love all of you and am so grateful for how you’ve helped me get to where I am! I will definitely miss performing with my friends above all else.”
