Paola and Luca Garcia are shining examples of what Claremont High School students should be: they are pillars of their friend groups, involved in a variety of clubs, and participate in various school activities. The twins have many impressive achievements and are widely respected and admired both in their friend groups and in the school as a whole.
Next year, Paola Garcia will be going to the University of Washington to study International Relations. When asked why she chose this degree, P. Garcia said “I really like travelling and I like learning about other countries and how their economic systems work, I want to study abroad too”. When asked about her brother, P. Garcia said, “He sometimes can be a little bit hard to get along with, but for the most part, he’s one of my best friends”.
When asked about her advice for younger students, P. Garcia responded “Just do what you love and be involved, because my number one thing is I’m involved in a lot of clubs and different sports. That was the fun thing I did in high school. I wouldn’t do it any other way”.
The Garcia twins are and always will be leaders of their friend groups, both are extremely charismatic and involved, leading them to develop many tight knit friendships that will last them a lifetime.
Luca Garcia is equally involved with the school. He is extremely excited to be doing both soccer and track at the college he will be attending. L. Garcia’s favorite memory of CHS was participating in Maestra Suarez’s class. He played baseball his freshman year, soccer his junior year, and track in his senior year L. Garcia especially enjoyed track and volleyball, which he attended during his sophomore year. L. Garcia also leaves behind some advice for the rest of the CHS body,
“Just don’t think too much about what other people think, lives move on. They don’t really remember stuff, so take risks and don’t regret anything” L. Garcia said.
The Garcia twins are incredible students, friends, and have left an amazing mark on Claremont High School. Together, there is no doubt that their futures will be bright, and the entire world holds its breath to see what the twins will do next.
