Mrs. Molly Arboleda’s Story
As a young Division I college athlete, I could eat whatever I wanted and exercised two-four hours a day to stay thin. And then three decades of stress-eating went by. In May 2017, I walked into a Weight Watchers meeting and explained that I needed help. I am so thankful I didn’t let my failure to manage weight on my own prevent me from seeking help elsewhere!
With a support structure in place, I still continue to lose weight and live a healthy lifestyle that makes me happy. I try to be mindful and not mindless when I start eating snacks after school. I feel so much better because I am eating healthier meals and I am once again exercising on a daily basis. I consider this experience to be one of my proudest accomplishments because I have succeeded in changing lifelong habits with food and am not giving up on myself even as I age. 🙂
