Princess Kyra Tisopulos

As ASB president, an intense varsity and club soccer player, member of Interact Club for four years, and member of Claremont’s City Council Teen committee, Kyra Tisopulos has a lot on her plate as an incredibly involved and energetic student here aC CHS. Throughout her time here, she has made great memories with her friends and continues to shine her big smile and inclusive attitude in all of her endeavors. In the future, Tisopulos hopes to attend a four year college, preferably USC.
“That’s the dream. Both my parents went there —it’s a school with great spirit and rigorous academics,” Tisopulos said, “I want to major in business with a background in economics.” After college she hopes to have a job that she truly enjoys, and most importantly, she hopes to be happy with her life, and the people in it. Tisopulos believes that it is important to do the things you would want others to do.
“You should be the best person you can be. Do everything to the best of your abilities,” Tisopulos said. She has learned this lesson from her grandmother, her role model. It was her grandmother who taught her all of the leadership goals and life lessons.
“She is definitely the individual who impacted my life the most. She passed away my freshman year and it was incredibly hard for me, but I’ll never forget everything she taught me,” Tisopulos said.
Tisopulos’ goal for CHS is to increase school spirit and leave a legacy of pack pride for underclassmen. “This year, the energy’s really high. But I hope it just keeps increasing from here. I’m scared that underclassmen don’t have the school spirit to keep pack pride at its highest in the future. I really hope they do,” Tispolus said. Tisopulos emphasizes that CHS should be proud to wear their school colors, not hesitant.
As busy as Tisopulos is, her best moments are always with her family and friends; the ones who make her laugh the most, and are there for her at all times. “I want to shoutout my family and friends, specifically Lily, Tess, Hope, and Tyler. They make me laugh until I cry, and have been there for me for as long as I can remember,” Tisopulos said.
In 50 years, Tisopulos hopes to be living by the beach with a nice car, and a couple of dogs. Her advice to us all is her personal motto: Be the leader you would follow. She hopes that it helps all of us, as it has helped her immensely throughout her high school career.
