Letter to the Editor: My thoughts on the new Claremont Fresh program
What a remarkable and amazing new program, right? Not only does it lessen the amount of people outdoors, but it also keeps the elderly safe from the ongoing pandemic. I find that the elderly are always the last to be thought about since many people have hoarded supplies from the start of COVID-19, which is unfortunate. However, this program is sort of a learning process for many volunteers who decided to take part in this program. This learning process contains compassion, patience, and mindfulness of others which can really shape a human being to be a better role model especially in times like these. Overall, this is such an astounding program and I am absolutely blown away that we have all come together as a community to help one another, even if we’re all on the same boat.
