While some of the other members of the court ran to round out their high school experience, senior Connor Gale ran for prom court as a joke while posting mugshots of himself asking for people to vote for him. But little did he know that this so-called joke would turn into a serious opportunity. This theme has been present in Gale’s life all along where the little things had turned into the most important for him. Recently, the little things in Gale’s life have been molding his future into something bright and positive.
Just as Gale’s driver can cover quite the distance on the golf range, his interests also stretch quite the distance. Currently, Gale is the co-captain of the golf team and has been on the team for all four years of his high school career. As an avid member of the Eagle Scouts and a youth basketball coach, Gale likes to mold his extracurricular activities around his interests. If you find him anywhere else in his jam-packed schedule, he will most likely be at an Angels game with his family and friends.
Gale is recognized across campus for being a talkative guy spreading positivity, and this is what he brings to the prom court table. Gale’s future job aspiration is to become a personal development trainer for the Angels, showing his knack for helping others around him. This skill is what he brings to prom court as he is constantly thinking about how to help his peers instead of himself. This selfless attitude is reflected in almost every aspect of Gale’s life, and even though he has barely begun the journey of life, he already has learned a great life skill.
Wherever the little things life takes him, Gale will remember to keep a selfless attitude. But no matter what, he will always remember to keep on going in his life and keep following his passion. Remembering the cart rides between each hole on the golf course and the comradery of friendships he created, he will be remembered at Claremont High with fondness.
