Crepes of Wrath: a sweet corner of Claremont Village

In the heart of Claremont Village, a delightful culinary haven known as “Crepes of Wrath” has over the years become a favorite among locals and students alike. With two locations in Claremont and Redlands, Crepes of Wrath is on a mission to create a special connection with customers through the art of crepe-making.

Crepes of Wrath ventured into Claremont in 2021, drawn by the robust community spirit and charming vibes of this town. The energetic community, drawing both youth and adults from the schools and nearby colleges, provides the perfect audience to savor their delectable crepes. Aesthetic delights and homemade goodness are at the core of Crepes of Wrath’s inspiration. The human connection through food serves as a driving force behind this concept. Where every crepe is not just a treat for the taste buds but a feast for the eyes, ensuring each one is Instagram-ready — with many posted on the shop’s own Instagram @crepes.of.wrath. From classic Nutella with strawberries to adventurous curry-savory creations, the varied menu is a testament to the dedication of experimenting with flavors inspired by Claremont and its diverse consumer base

Quality, freshness, and a five-star guarantee are some of the many things Crepes of Wrath has to offer, as they believe that no shortcuts are taken in the kitchen mindest, with all ingredients (including batter and sauces) crafted in-house. The commitment to quality and freshness is unwavering, with rigorous checks on natural ingredients and frequent taste-testings. As the owner emphasizes, “Crepes are not hotdogs; they are a delicacy.”

Beyond the scrumptious crepes, what truly sets Crepes of Wrath apart is their commitment to customer service and comfort. Located in Claremont Village for its historical charm, the store’s design reflects a cozy, transparent atmosphere. The staff goes the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome, fostering small talk and creating a memorable experience for each visitor, even offering a 10% discount to students — an opportunity CHS students could readily pursue. Crepes of Wrath actively participates in Claremont community events, from the Village Venture to the Chocolate Walk, handing out delicious samples and spreading joy.

Always open to feedback, Crepes of Wrath encourages customers and employees alike to share suggestions. The commitment to sustainability is evident, with a focus on recycling and plans for broader sustainable initiatives in the future. They adapt to Claremont’s preferences, expanding their menu to include new offerings like drinks and catering to vegan and gluten-free customers/needs. Crepes of Wrath is not just a place to savor crepes; it is a delightful community hub, where good food, warm smiles, and positive vibes come together. As they look ahead, the team is excited about continuous improvement to ensure they remain a cherished spot in Claremont’s culinary landscape.
