Every Fifteen Minutes
During the Every Fifteen Minutes program at Claremont High School on March 23, junior and senior students watched a simulated car crash caused by a drunk driver. First responders reported to the scene on Indian Hill Boulevard to care for the injured and deceased students. Senior John Bifone was pronounced dead on the scene, while senior Georgiana Jackson was airlifted to the USC Medical Center for treatment. Although the deaths and injuries were not real, it taught students the danger of driving while under the influence.
