Treasurer-Elect: Alex Rodriguez

Being an ASB treasurer comes with many responsibilities. A treasurer can grant or deny any club, organization, or sport on campus the funds that they request. To be able to keep up with ASB, school, and sports is a big job, but junior Alex Rodriguez is up for the challenge. Rodriguez revealed that having more responsibilities and being on executive council as two of the main reasons he chose to run for this position.

“Some goals I have set for next year [are] plainly to make everything more efficient and run smoothly,” Rodriguez said.

Aside from being a member of ASB since the 8th grade and the current Commissioner of Elections, Rodriguez believes that his involvement in different sports, as well as his attendance at many leadership conferences, allows him to work well with others.

“I’ve been involved with cross country and track, which helps out a bit in ASB because you learn how to work as a team in everything you do,” Rodriguez said.

Being efficient, motivated and determined, as well as being an inclusive individual, are just a few of the positive attributes Rodriguez brings to ASB. These traits, conjoined with his leadership skills and expansive background in ASB affairs make Rodriguez a legitimate candidate for the position of ASB Treasurer.
