Homecoming Princess Sarah Tran

Senior Sarah Tran participates in many community service projects including one she dedicated much time to where she crocheted mats out of plastic materials for less fortunate folks, and is involved with science olympiad, Soup for Alzheimer’s Soul Club, and Homeless not Hopeless club. Through all her effort she was voted homecoming princess.

Tran hopes to attend the University of Southern California (USC) and plans to major in human biology and later get her Medical Degree.

“I have always been intrigued by the human body, the anatomy of it and its biological workings. The body is so vulnerable yet so intricate and beautiful. A total contradiction.” Tran said.

In regards to her future, Tran sees herself as an obstetrician gynecologist in ten years, in 50 years, she see herself on 23 Jump Street or any movie as long as Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are casted alongside her. In her golden years Tran hopes to have attained mental equanimity and serenity.

“Shout out to the Foothills and the crew that hangs out at the sketchy dark backside of the library during lunch lols. Musa, Hannah, Megan, Jean, Andrew, Nabs, Shih-man, the peeps that like to slap AB’s legs out of sheer pleasure, the list goes on.”

As Tran prepares to go off to college she recalls the fun years she had at CHS. Usually one will find her buried in a textbook. This homecoming season has given Tran so many opportunities to step outside of the boundaries of academics, close her books and enjoy CHS’s crazy spirit. She has made friends with the other Homecoming Court members and loosened up from all the stress she gains by watching funny bloopers.
