Lucas Grannis is the Head Opinions Editor in the Wolfpacket. Right by his side is Odelia Hahn, assistant Opinions Editor. Both Grannis and Hahn have been part of the Wolfpacket since their freshman year, where Grannis joined to have the opportunity to be a role model. The opinion section has always been a favorite for these two. Grannis claims to be very opinionated, which makes him a great fit for this position.
“I like that in opinions you don’t have to be impartial, you can really express your own thoughts and take your own direction in what you want to write which isn’t seen in other sections,” Grannis said.
Hahn agrees that there is more diversity and perspective in the opinions section. This issue’s articles were chosen based on their relevance to CHS as a community and how passionate the reporters were about those articles. Grannis and Hahn are especially excited about Kate Song’s article about how the abstract idea of feminism is not as good as everyone perceives it to be. Grannis adores his position as the Head Opinions Editor; his favorite part is editing articles and helping others improve their writing quality. On the other hand, Hahn’s favorite part of being the assistant opinions editor is the idea of having freedom in your writing.

About the Contributors
Fiona Bulmer, Reporter
Fiona Bulmer is a sophomore at Claremont High School and a reporter for the Wolfpacket. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and skiing when the weather allows it. She also enjoys getting as much sleep as possible. As a vegan, one of her favorite foods is tofu panini’s, which she swears are better than they sound. Her favorite school subjects are Hhistory and English. She joined Wolfpacket partially due to her love of English, and is hoping to expand her writing skills and meet new people this year.
Kate Mitchell, Co-Head News Editor
Kate Mitchell is eager to start her senior year at CHS as the Co-Head News Editor and one of the social media managers. The Wolfpacket has impacted Mitchell tremendously throughout her three years on the staff. She has learned so much from her fellow staff members in and outside of fourth period. Mitchell is excited to spend her senior year back in room 104 with her Wolfpacket friends. Switching from Features to News Editor this year, Mitchell is ready to see all the new ideas this section will bring to the front page. Outside of the packet Mitchell is starting her 13th year of Girl Scouts as an Ambassador, hopefully she will finish her Gold Award soon. She also enjoys concerts, traveling and traveling to concerts. Over the summer Mitchell went to the Eras tour in Munich, Germany well kind of… She stood outside of the Olympic Stadium alongside 50,000 other swifties just enjoying the atmosphere and slightly jealous of the 70,000 swifties inside watching the show up close. As Mitchell finishes up her college applications and boat loads of homework she hopes to find some time to enjoy all of the fun activities senior year has to offer!
