Bringing you all your “need to know” news about what’s going on with your favorite music artists and pop culture is Isabelle Shie, the Head Editor for Arts and Entertainment, and Kyle Chen, the Assistant Editor. Arts and Entertainment is a section designated to bring students up to date in both the entertainment world and Claremont High School. Through lots of “fun visuals” and interesting articles, students are — needless to say — captivated by the section. Both editors work hard each month, making an equally intriguing and visually pleasing spread for readers to enjoy. Chen described the process as similar to “Pieces to a puzzle where you have to try and match your topics” to establish a good flow. The November issue primarily focuses on articles such as Laufey’s new album and the upcoming fall season. One specific article that Shie and Chen are excited about is the ranking of Fall TV specials, because of how nostalgic it is and its current relevance. Make sure to check their pages out!

About the Contributors

Isla Bulmer, Head Features Editor
Isla Bulmer is a senior at Claremont High School and is excited to take on a Features Editor role. Bulmer first entered The Wolfpacket her sophomore year, but as a questionable decision-making junior, took a temporary leave to pursue IB Art. Upon leaving, Bulmer, like most CHS students, had a Wolfpacket shaped hole in her heart and when the opportunity presented itself, applied to be an editor for the 2025-2026 school year. Outside of room 104, Bulmer holds positions in a plethora of clubs across campus, including Artzy Fartzy, National Honors Society, Interact, and Voice for Change. Bulmer enjoys embarking on anything that includes hot glue or a sewing needle, and has nothing but optimism to take her artistic aspirations onto the Wolfpacket’s center spread. In the past four years, Bulmer has managed to build up a tolerance for running, she has possibly even begun to enjoy it, and is elated to be a captain of CHS’s Varsity Cross Country and Track teams. Bulmer feels ready for senior year, and can not wait to begin making an impact on The Wolfpacket.

Kate Mitchell, Co-Head News Editor
Kate Mitchell is eager to start her senior year at CHS as the Co-Head News Editor and one of the social media managers. The Wolfpacket has impacted Mitchell tremendously throughout her three years on the staff. She has learned so much from her fellow staff members in and outside of fourth period. Mitchell is excited to spend her senior year back in room 104 with her Wolfpacket friends. Switching from Features to News Editor this year, Mitchell is ready to see all the new ideas this section will bring to the front page. Outside of the packet Mitchell is starting her 13th year of Girl Scouts as an Ambassador, hopefully she will finish her Gold Award soon. She also enjoys concerts, traveling and traveling to concerts. Over the summer Mitchell went to the Eras tour in Munich, Germany well kind of… She stood outside of the Olympic Stadium alongside 50,000 other swifties just enjoying the atmosphere and slightly jealous of the 70,000 swifties inside watching the show up close. As Mitchell finishes up her college applications and boat loads of homework she hopes to find some time to enjoy all of the fun activities senior year has to offer!
