Mercer Weis, Contributing Reporter
Mercer Weis, a current senior at CHS, serves as a contributing reporter on the Wolfpacket team. His love for journalism sparked when he joined Wolfcast, a student-run broadcasting show at Claremont High School featuring a variety of campus and ASB news. With his co-host Viraj Urkudey, Weis continues to share news digitally through written and spoken language. Outside of media, Weis is a competitive swimmer, debater, and passionate environmentalist. Spending time with his family and dog Penelope is also something Weis enjoys immensely. When he has time to adventure outside, Weis always plays Still Woozy on shuffle or the next Daily podcast produced by the New York Times while taking photos of nature. No matter what time of day it is, Weis is always hungry and eager to eat anything other than onions. In the future, Weis aspires to be an environmental lawyer or policy analyst. However, as time progresses, he will accept that career goals are subject to change. For now, he looks forward to frequently contributing to the Wolfpacket.
