Homecoming 2019 Princess Lily Krause
Charismatic, light hearted, and enthusiastic about choir and music, homecoming princess Lily Krause has spent much of her CHS career pursuing these interests, becoming an accomplished singer, and student. Some may not know that Krause can sing the alphabet backwards, likes to rollerskate, and loves to watch movies. In her free time, Krause can be found expressing her creative side, spending time with her brothers and friends, or hiking around her home.
“I like to play music a lot, I love playing guitar and piano, and I enjoy doing art, like painting,” Krause said. “I’m interested in basically anything revolving around music.”
Her favorite academic subject is science, but most of all, Krause enjoys choir. She has been involved in choir since her freshman year, when she was in treble ensemble. During her sophomore year, she joined chamber singers, and continues to bring her talent to the group for her third consecutive year. Her favorite memory with choir was when they went to Australia because she had the chance to experience a different country with her close friends. In the future, Krause would like to live in a foreign country such as Greece or Australia, and have a fulfilled life that she is content with.
“In ten years I see myself living far away on a beach in a little home,” Krause said.
Krause was surprised to be chosen as a princess on court, but is grateful for the support of her friends and peers nevertheless. Krause would like to give shoutouts to Edyn Hawk, Mariah, Faith, Bella, Bri, and Claire. Kicking off the year with a great start, Krause’s nomination for court highlights the fact that she is a hard worker, talented singer, and a genuine person. The future is bright for Krause as she finishes her last year at CHS, and she will surely make her mark on campus as she continues to follow her passions.
