October Athlete Of The Month
Student-athlete and CHS senior Mason Stark is the October Athlete of the Month. Stark, a seasoned athlete on the CHS varsity boys water polo team, started playing water polo during his sophomore year. He has also been playing club water polo year-round. Stark made second team all league last year, and his club team also made it to the Junior Olympics. His best memory from water polo involves a team tradition that stems from his teammate Alex Stockwell, who used to buy Cactus Coolers at Ayala; now, the whole team gets Cactus Coolers after every tournament.
When he is not busy at water polo practice, Stark can be seen hanging out with his friends and his two golden retrievers, Moose and Marley. He would like to give a shoutout to all the guys in the water polo team, including his coaches and others who have guided him. Congratulations, Mason!
