2018 Grammys

The 2018 Grammy Awards was a musical sensation, from Bruno Mars winning Best Song for his single hit “That’s What I Like” to Kendrick Lamar winning Best Hip Hop Album for “DAMN.” These two artists were both heavily publicised this year, so it is not too surprising that they won big.
To start off, It is most probably true that “DAMN” was one of the best albums of the year, especially considering the amount of downloads and songs in it. Though I can agree agree with Kendrick being able to take the huge best album award, I’m not sure I could agree with Mars as the winner of best song. Although Bruno Mars If you would like to vote for our Wolfpacket Grammy awards, go to thewolfpacket.com to participate in our poll.
Best Solo Pop Performance went to Ed Sheeran for his hit song “Shape Of You.” Honorable mentions went to Kelly Clarkson for “Love So soft”, Kesha for “Praying”, Lady Gaga for “A Million Reasons”, and Pink for “What About Us.” Best Pop Duo went to Portugal. The Man for “Feel It Still.” Honorable mentions went to Zed and Alessia Cara for “Stay”,Imagine Dragons for “Thunder,” Luis Fonsi for “Despacito,” and Coldplay and The Chainsmokers for “Something Just Like This.” My personal favorite out of the big pop awards, was probably “Stay”, with its jumpy lyrics and background.
At the Grammys, there were many memorable performances sung by the winners, but the best of all was Kendrick Lamar featuring U2 and Dave Chapelle with the dramatic performance “This is a Satire.” The performance consisted of rows of men in army uniforms dancing to Kendrick’s songs and acting. Another impressive performance was “Finesse” by Bruno Mars and Cardi B.
There were many instant classics that were created this year that will be remembered for years to come. The Grammys of 2018 Brought us many great performances and songs, and hopefully.
