Secretary-Elect: Rachel Hollinger
The secretary position on the ASB staff takes a lot of dedication and planning, and that is just what CHS junior Rachel Hollinger plans to bring next school year. Being a dancer since she was six, Hollinger knows what it is like to work hard and never give up, no matter what it is that she is doing.
“This past year, I was the Junior class secretary treasurer and I was given the privilege to be a part of the charity committee. I was able to work with a group of four other people who guided me a lot this year,” Hollinger said.
If Hollinger gets the position this upcoming year, she hopes to make the dances more fun and get more people involved. Although Hollinger wants to bring in new and exciting ideas, she does not want to change everything and looks to keep some consistency.
“I want to make this a seamless year, meaning that I want people to think ‘wow I can’t believe our school can put on such great activities,’ or whatever the ASB staff has planned,” Hollinger said.
Overall, what Hollinger and ASB are truly striving for is to see the students enjoy their time at CHS. She wants to see people happy about attending a school event, which is just what CHS needs.
