School Site Council-Elect: Niki Seligman
A hard working and determined student, junior Niki Seligman is running for School Site Council (SIP) in ASB. Seligman has been a member of ASB for four successive years, as well as being involved in extracurriculars such as varsity girls’ CHS soccer, the Young Democrats Club, and the Feminist Club on campus.
“I chose to run for SIP because I am enthusiastic about engaging in conversations with adults and other peers in regards to our school,” Seligman said.
Seligman hopes to show a different side of herself while fulfilling her goals and duties as a member of SIP.
“I have engaged in leadership roles within the ASB class as well as in meetings for the class of 2016. In addition, I volunteered for the project Think this summer, in which I played a large leadership role in helping and teaching young kids,” Seligman said.
Seligman hopes to develop a closer relationship with the rest of the ASB class and get more involved with the school. Being a part of SIP, Seligman hopes to help CHS expand upon the students’ goals and ideas.
