Inter-School Council-Elect: Chaska Yamane
Junior Chaska Yamane is eager to serve on the Inter-School Council. Whether he is on the tennis courts, writing articles, running meetings, or improvising on stage, Yamane can be found on CHS campus well after normal school hours and now he is running for the ASB Executive Board position of Inter-School Council. This ASB position communicates between the student body and the Board of Education.
“I have always admired the work the ASB has done to help out our school and I want to be able to contribute to the various events throughout the year,” Yamane said.
Yamane is opinions editor on the Wolfpacket, varsity Tennis captain, a Comedy Sportz improvisational actor, Solar Cup member, and the Interact Publicity Officer. This year, Yamane was elected by the American legion to represent CHS in the Boys’ State Leadership Conference this June. He has experienced the athletic, artistic, and academic sides of the student body.
“I am really excited to use all the experience that I have gained and will gain to create a school year that might even be enjoyable, not just bearable,” Yamane said.
With his active participation in school life, Yamane is sure to be a good addition to Inter-School Council.
