Commissioner of Publicity-Elect: Naseem Nazari
Commissioner of Publicity is a very important position to the school as a whole as is means being in charge of the marketing around campus and even on social media sites. Sophomore Naseem Nazari plans on using her skills as an everyday student to notice what does and does not catch her attention. She also plans on taking what she has learned and turning it into publicity that will catch the average students’ eye.
“I feel that marketing is a social thing and you have to be social to step out of your comfort zone. Any business needs marketing, and if you have a really good business, but really bad marketing your business is not going to succeed. I can talk to people and I also have art abilities for making posters,” Nazari said.
Becoming a leader takes a certain amount of panache and experience. Due to her extracurricular commitments, Nazari believes she is a strong contender for the position.
“I am on the Varsity swim team here at CHS, and a club swim team. I am also in Interact Club, Teens for Troops Club, and Earthwise Club. I volunteer after school, and tutor kids on mondays, and I am currently on ASB,” Nazari said.
In addition to many more creative ideas, Nazari plans on taking publicity to the next level by using all possible social media sites to advertise the upcoming events and important dates here at CHS. With her experience, qualified traits, and ideas for the future, Nazari has set herself up for an election to look forward to.
