Commissioner of Elections-Elect: Ryan Swift
Current sophomore Ryan Swift hopes to become Commissioner of Elections for the upcoming year here at CHS. This position leads and oversees all matters pertaining to elections throughout CHS.
“I would like to improve the efficiency of vote counting so that all winners can be announced within the shortest time frame possible,” Swift said.
Swift believes that his background in baseball would aid him if elected. Being the pitcher on his teams has introduced and familiarized him with the roles of leadership because other players rely on his performance. Consequently, he has learned how to work effectively and efficiently with other people.
“I have a very strong team mindset and I believe that in any type of group, we can accomplish tasks efficiently with everyone contributing,” Swift said.
Swift prides himself of his ability to problem solve and focus for an extended period of time to get work done. If elected, Swift strives to arrange a schedule to map out events which would occur during the duration of his term to allow for adequate planning. Swift hopes to use his his natural ability to lead and knowledge of tasks that involve teams to make himself a pertinent contender for Commissioner of Elections.
