Co-Host? More like HoCo! Wolfcast co-host, Kaitlyn Zhang, is in the top ten for Homecoming court this year. She noted that she never saw herself on the court.
“My main goal was to lowkey take a picture in a Ferrari,” Zhang said. In addition to being the star of Wolfcast, Zhang is also known for her many other on-campus activities. She is a camera operator and anchor for the football films program, vice president for the Sports Media Club, publicist for Interact and Legion of Voters, and, perhaps most notably, speech captain for the Speech and Debate team.
“Speech and Debate is one of the best things that has happened during high school,” Zhang said. “Especially because I did a duo speech with my partner, Serenity. She’s currently at Brown, so shoutout to her. She definitely made that process of becoming captain a lot easier and fun.”
Zhang wants to mention some of the people who took part in her high school journey, all the way to Homecoming Court. She would like to shout out Serenity Hamilton, Luke Roy, her co-host, and her closest friends, Fiona Wu and Anais Talbott Meza.
Finally, Zhang shares some words of wisdom for those who may be struggling in high school.
“Always find something to look forward to,” Zhang said. “High school is such a short period in your life. Don’t over-stress yourself.”
