If you are ever scrolling on Instagram, there is a good chance that you will see Pablo Guevara sitting against his bedroom wall, talking about the government and current events. Government, politics, and literature are the core fundamentals of Guevara’s interests, as he wants to spread civic engagement to everyone on the internet. Guevara’s Homecoming campaign was a fun exercise for him.
“ I figured that once I was in the top 30, it was just a test of how much I could use my advertising skills to make the top ten. It was quite a game for me,”said Guevara.
Guevara is an Original Speech captain for the Speech and Debate team and is Co-Head News Editor for The Wolfpacket. Guevara is also the Vice Chair of Claremont’s Teen Committee, an organization that represents Claremont youth in politics. In his free time, Guevara enjoys making political content for Instagram under the username PolitiLingo, helping people understand political information easier and spreading the ideals of civic engagement.
Guevara would like to shout out his friends Henry Phillips, Max Abbott, Leonardo Raphael, CH Lee, Arnav Merla, and others. He also would like to shout out teachers Mr. Chamberlain and Ms. Bodnar for fostering his curiosity. As a hopeful lawyer, watch out for this litigative mind on the Claremont High Homecoming Court.
