Lethal anchor in the 4×4 relay, masterchef in the kitchen, and producer of cinematic masterpieces—when he brings out the camera, it will always be a good shot.
This year’s Homecoming Royalty would not be complete without senior Aarion Kennebrew—a Homecoming King whose combination of athletic prowess, school spirit, and comedic skill has made him a fan favorite. Whether he is sprinting down the track or breaking ankles on the basketball court, Kennebrew brings the energy everywhere he goes.
Off the court, Kennebrew enjoys giving back to his community by tutoring Integrated Math 1 students at El Roble. He channels his creativity by cracking jokes on Wolfcast and taking photos for the yearbook. After graduation, he plans on attending Mt. SAC before transferring to Colorado Christian University, hoping to continue his dominance as a legendary athlete.
Kennebrew was initially encouraged by his mom to apply for Homecoming Court. “Now that I made the top 10, it feels amazing to see people vote for me,” Kennebrew said. He would like to give a shoutout to his twin, Louisa, as well as close friends, Elijah Balcazar, James Stanson, and everyone else who has supported him through the highs and lows of high school.
His advice for underclassmen? “Don’t give up, and get through your homework early—junior year is no joke,” Kennebrew said. Wise words to live by from a guy who seems to balance it all—and have a punchline for everything.
