Claremont High School (CHS) has a new face on campus: Education specialist, Nicole Varnadoe. She comes to CHS with over 14 years of experience working with high school students. On top of that, she holds three degrees and is currently working toward her administrative credential.
Varnadoe thinks the decision to join CHS was an easy one since she already lives nearby. “I would often drive by the school and wonder what it would be like to work here. So far, the experience has been great. I love the warm welcome and family-like community that CHS brings.” Varnadoe said.
She has been impressed with the size of the campus and the number of leadership opportunities, resources, and activities available to students. She also enjoys the daily Wolfcast videos.
Varnadoe is already getting involved outside the classroom. She is excited to sponsor an art club, and this winter she will be chaperoning the school dance.
Most of all, she appreciates the administration, campus life, and the familiar atmosphere at CHS. “Everyone has made me feel welcome,” Varnadoe said. “I believe I’m here to stay.”
Outside of school, Varnadoe has one future goal: to buy a home somewhere in the southwest region since California is way too expensive. But for now, she is excited to be part of the Wolfpack family and get even more involved at CHS.
