Eli Kim is an incredible student with lots of passion for learning. This is why Claremont High School proudly celebrates Eli Kim, who will be attending Dartmouth College this fall. Dartmouth has an esteemed history as a prestigious university in the Ivy League. As a rising freshman for the Big Green, Eli is set to pursue a rigorous and exciting path with a major in Engineering Physics. Kim’s academic dedication and strong work ethic have earned him his place at one of the nation’s most prestigious universities. When asked about why he chose Dartmouth, Kim shared that he was drawn in by the welcoming atmosphere and the quality of the academics during his college visit.
Reflecting on his time at CHS, Eli shared one of his favorite memories: when Mr. DiGrazia played Fortnite in class. A moment that stands out as a reminder of the fun and unique experiences that defined his high school journey. He also has some advice to some current and upcoming freshmen at CHS.
“IB Comp Sci, AP Environmental Science, and English 101 are the easiest weighted classes,” said Kim.
As for the future, Kim hopes to continue his higher education by potentially going to graduate School, though he has yet to make any firm decisions yet.. Before heading off to Hanover, Kim would like to shout out his friend Aryan Bhadauria.
